What genres of vinyl records do you specialize in buying?

Best selling genre is rock and roll (Beatles, Stones, Floyd, Zeppelin). Other genres that do well are blues, jazz, and hip hop.

How do you determine the price when buying records?

As far as pricing goes - it depends on quantity and quality. There isn't really a formula other than reaching a fair negotiation with the owner that both sides are comfortable with.

What is your criteria for grading vinyl records?

I don't really have a set process for grading; usually, it's just a quick visual inspection and a count. The evaluation depends on the artists, condition, etc - no real formula.

Are there specific artists or labels you're currently looking to purchase?

Pop and rock 'n' roll are always number one. We try to stay away from big band and classical records, as those are not as popular with our current customers.

Do I need to schedule an appointment to sell a large collection, or can I drop by?

An appointment would be needed to sell a large collection.
