Record store: Molly's Books & Records
FAQ
How is the price determined for records I sell to you?
The price we pay is determined by market value, with condition being the most important criteria, especially for common records. We usually pay a third to a half of what we think we can sell a record for.
Is there a difference in payment if I choose cash or store credit?
Cash or credit is fine, and there is no difference in the amount we pay out whether you choose cash or store credit.
What genres of records are you most interested in buying?
The genres we are most interested in are Classic Rock (from the 50s through the 90s), Punk, Metal, Indie Rock, Soul, and Classic Jazz (from the 50s through the 70s).
Are there any genres you do not buy at all?
We do not carry Opera and Show Tunes at all. We also have limited use for Pop Vocals (like Perry Como, Andy Williams, etc). Most other genres we pick and choose according to our needs.
How can I discuss what I have and learn more about how you buy?
You can have a conversation with us about what you have and how we buy by calling us at 215 923 3367. You can speak with John today, or tomorrow speak with him or Joe. We look forward to hearing from you!
We are eager to explore your collection and potentially make an offer. Feel free to reach out to us via the provided contact details for a detailed discussion.
