Record store: Raven Records & Rarities
FAQ
What types of records do you buy?
I buy LPs primarily, with not as much interest in 45s, and no interest in 78s. The main factors I consider are the condition of the record and the demand for its genre, with classical and easy listening being in the least demand.
What can I expect when I bring my records for an offer?
I'd be happy to look at what you have and make an offer based on several factors including condition, demand, and how many copies I currently have in stock.
How do you determine the value of records?
With close to 40 years of experience buying and selling, I have a good idea of what to offer. Factors that influence the price include the record's condition, its demand, and my current supply.
Do you offer more in credit or cash?
You have the choice of receiving cash or credit for your records. I do offer more in credit than in cash.
What should I do if I have several copies of a title?
If you have several copies of a title, be aware that my interest may be lower if I already have multiple copies in stock. However, I'm still willing to evaluate them and provide an offer.
