Record store: Astro Record Store

FAQ

Why did you close your store?

I have retired and closed my store following my plan to retire when I reached 62, which happened a few weeks ago. I will continue doing business online and from my new home in Waynesville, NC, but not at the scale of the large record store operation I had in Texas.

Will there still be a place to buy records in your old location?

Yes, the bookshop next door, Painted Porch Bookshop, will start carrying records, although not the extensive selection that I had. They plan to be up and running with their vinyl collection as soon as next week.

How can customers continue to follow your activities or reach out?

Customers can check in with me at Astro Record Store on social media for updates and information on my ongoing online business activities.

What should customers do if they want a broader selection of records?

For a broader selection, customers are encouraged to reach out to the Painted Porch Bookshop next week to see what they will be offering as they start including vinyl in their inventory.

Are there any other ways to purchase from your collection?

While the physical store has closed, my online operations continue, and I am reachable through my social media platforms for any inquiries about available records or special requests.
