Record store: SqueezeBox Records

FAQ

Do you purchase records, and if so, what types?

We do purchase records including 45's, 33-1/3, and 78's. There really are no specific requirements, but we ask that the records you want to sell must be in nice condition. Also, the record jackets need to be free of dust, mold, etc.

What genres of records are you particularly interested in buying?

We mostly look for Jazz, especially bop jazz, Blues, Rock and Roll, as well as Soul and Funk records.

How large is your shop and what does it primarily feature?

Our shop is about 2210 sq ft total, with about 1650 of it dedicated to New & Vintage Records. We carry both new and vintage items, including gear and other media like CDs and cassettes.

Can you describe your Jazz record collection?

The Jazz section of the shop consists of one side of one bin, ten LPs across and three shelves high. We also have a wall of records that are incredibly hard to find, one being Tommy Flanagan on New Jazz, the LP is called: ‘The Cats’ w/ Coltrane, Burrell, and Idrees Sulieman.

What can I expect to find in your Pop music selection?

Depending on which era of Pop you’re looking for, I’m certain we would have something in your lane. The shop is about 70% Vintage and 30% New.

Who can I contact for more information?

Peace, Rich. Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions or need further information.
