FAQ
What genres of music does your store buy?
We buy almost all genres of music. However, we typically do not seek out classical music, Broadway shows, and a few other categories due to lower demand.
How do you determine the value of music collections?
We assess each collection title-by-title to determine its potential sellability in our store and the price we expect to sell it for. The condition of the record is a major factor in our assessment and pricing.
What percentage of the selling price do you typically pay for music items?
We pay around a third of what we anticipate selling an item for. This rate can fluctuate based on the item's value, how quickly we think it will sell, and whether it might need to be sold online, which incurs additional fees and costs.
Do you make house calls for collections, or do I need to bring my items to the store?
We typically only make house calls for much larger collections. Depending on your location and our schedule, we might be able to come to you. Otherwise, we're happy to set up an appointment for you to bring the records to our store.
