Record store: Green Light Music and Video

We would definitely be interested in taking a look. We're always looking for a variety of genres, including rock, heavy metal, R&B, hip-hop, pop, jazz, blues, and other genres, but generally we're not so interested in showtunes, easy listening, big band, or classical. We typically look at each record for its condition and, depending on how many records you have, we use Discogs.com and our store inventory as a guide when pricing. We'll typically stay close to Discogs median prices in most cases, and depending on the record, we'd offer you approximately one third of what we would sell the record for in cash (or check). Store credit would be 25% more, so for example, if we offer $4 for a record in cash, it would be $5 in store credit. We try not to buy anything that might skip or have excessive noise.

Depending on how many records you have, we would probably have you drop them off while we go through them, and we can give you a call with an offer when we're finished. Of course, if it's only a few records it wouldn't take very long, but hundreds of records could take several days. In the next few weeks, things might be particularly hectic because we're preparing for Record Store Day, which is April 20th.

Hopefully this info helps. Please feel free to give us a call at 269-372-8560 between 11-5 Monday-Friday, and we will be happy to give you more information or answer any other questions you might have!
