What types of vinyl records are you primarily interested in purchasing?

We are primarily after rock and roll records from the 60's, 70's, 80's (such as Beatles, Hendrix, Stones, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac), funk and soul records (Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder), and be bop jazz vinyl (Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Charles Mingus). We also buy some classic country records.

Are there any types of records you do not purchase?

We are not interested in classical and adult contemporary records (like Andy Williams, Johnny Mathis, etc.). The records also must be in excellent condition.

What is your policy on the condition of records?

We offer a money-back guarantee to our customers if they buy a scratched record from us. Therefore, we require records to be in excellent condition.

How do you determine the price you pay for records?

We base our pricing on a fairly straightforward formula using the median value of the record as found on the Discogs website. For example, if Discogs lists a median value of $10 for a record, we will usually sell it for just under that at $8-$9. We would offer you $3-$4 depending on the overall condition, including the album cover.

How do I sell my records to you, and how long does the evaluation take?

Albums are usually dropped off to us, and we typically take less than 24 hours to evaluate the titles and condition. We then call you with a cash offer, and a trade offer, where we always offer more in trade value than cash.
