FAQ

What types of records does JDC Records purchase?

We look for Classic Rock, Pop, R&B/Soul, Jazz, and Blues. We may also be interested in specific artists from genres like Country, Classical, Easy Listening, and Folk, as well as a limited number of 45rpm records.

What condition must records be in to be considered for purchase?

Records must be in good to very good condition. Vinyl should have no scratches that affect the playback quality, and jackets are acceptable with normal shelf or ring wear, but we prefer no tears or missing parts.

Does JDC Records purchase 78rpm records?

No, we do not buy 78rpm records at all.

How can I sell my private collection?

If you have a private collection that fits our criteria, please contact us to discuss further details on how you can bring your collection in for evaluation.

What should I do if I have genres or types of records generally of limited interest to your store?

If you have records in genres with limited interest, such as Country or Classical, please reach out with details about the specific artists and records, as we might still consider them.
