Record store: Lifelong Thrift Store
Everything at lifelong is donated to us and we do not have store credit, trades, or cash as an option. We are an AIDS/HIV nonprofit and all proceeds go back to our parent organization. We do have donation receipts which can be accounted for on tax returns.
We accept most records, but here is a list of things we avoid/have to pass on: any moldy or water damaged records, records that have damaged/torn cases and sleeves, unknown artists from older eras, outwardly religious music, and anything with hate speech. Classical music and gospel do not sell well here, but we are excited to accept many other genres. We can go further into the process of how we evaluate costs, but it mostly has to do with condition, content, availability, and what our audience would purchase.
Although we cannot offer cash or store credit, we would still be ecstatic to receive any donations you may have for us. Thanks for reaching out and feel free to let us know what you are thinking.
Sincerely, Lifelong Media Team
