Record store: LongHair Records
We buy records from customers frequently and look for albums that cater to the eclectic tastes of our clientele. We are interested in genres such as rock, disco, electronic, dance, hip hop, international, New Wave, punk, metal, blues, country, bluegrass, and jazz.
Are there any types of records you are less interested in purchasing?
We are not very interested in big band, orchestral easy listening, or opera records and very rarely acquire more classical music.
What condition must the records be in for you to consider purchasing them?
We are very selective regarding the quality of the records. We only buy records that have their sleeves intact and are not scratched beyond an enjoyable listening experience.
How do you decide which records to purchase?
We take curation very seriously and know what we want when we see it. However, we are also intrigued by releases we've never heard or seen before if they entice us. This openness sometimes leads to unique and unexpected additions to our inventory.
How can I arrange an appointment to show you my collection?
If you feel like we would enjoy looking at your collection, you can make an appointment to bring your records in. We're always eager to discover new and interesting music to possibly add to our store.
