Record store: Music Millennium
FAQ
What genres do you buy, and are there any types of music you don't purchase?
We buy all genres. Things that there is little or no interest in include big band, easy listening, and a few other things. Some jazz labels are golden from the '50s and '60s like Blue Note and Verve. Some import labels are highly sought after, and imports and audiophile recordings have good demand overall.
What is the payment method for records sold to your store?
We do give cash or 20% more in store credit. Bring them down and we will give you an offer.
Do I need to schedule an appointment to sell my records?
You do not need to schedule an appointment.
What are your buying hours, and what is the best time to come in?
We buy from 10 to 10 Monday through Saturday and 11 to 9 Sunday. Weekdays are less busy so Monday through Thursday are the best days to come in.
Are there certain artists or specific types of records that do particularly well in your store?
Rock, soul, jazz, blues, and world music from the '50s to present mostly do well. Old country is good but not as much with modern radio country, although artists like Chris Stapleton do well.
