Record store: Princeton Record Exchange
FAQ
What types of records do you purchase from individuals?
In general, we purchase LPs and some 45s from individuals. We do not purchase 78rpm discs. We are particularly interested in music genres such as Classic Rock, Indie Rock, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Rap, Oldies, Blues, Motown, Soul, Funk, Psychedelic, British Invasion, Punk Rock, Progressive Rock, Reggae, Metal, World/International, Latin, Audiophile pressings, Country, Folk, and more.
What condition should the records be in?
The condition of the records is paramount. Records should be in at least near mint condition, with no scratches, scuffs, split seams, writing on the covers, or mold. Covers and liner notes should be intact.
How can I initiate the process to sell my records?
The simplest way to proceed is with a phone call. When convenient, get near your collection and call us at 609-921-0881. With a few questions, we should be able to tell you if it's worth proceeding.
Where can I find more specific information on how to sell items to you?
For more specific information on how we purchase items, please visit our webpage. There you will find detailed information including questionnaires and specific contact information.
What types of music do you not buy?
While our interests are broad, we only want items in very good shape. We generally avoid items that do not meet our high standards of quality and condition, regardless of genre.
