What types of records does AYP specialize in purchasing?

We purchase punk & metal - we usually stay away from 45s.

Can I bring my punk and metal records in for evaluation?

If you have punk & metal, you could arrange a time to bring them in for us to look over.

Are there genres of records that AYP does not purchase?

Yes, we do not purchase Classical Orchestra, Big Band (like Glen Miller), most Pop Vocal (e.g., Barbra Streisand, John Gary), Movie Soundtracks, and Showtunes from the '50s & '60s as they aren't saleable.

What condition must records be in to sell to AYP?

All records need to be in excellent condition with no scratches. Covers can have some general wear.

What genres are generally considered good to sell at AYP?

Rock, Blues, and Jazz are mostly all good genres to sell.

Does AYP buy any movie soundtracks or show tunes?

No, Movie Soundtracks and Showtunes from the '50s & '60s do not sell at our store and are generally not purchased.
