Record store: Better Nature Records

We're using a temporary location in Bay Shore instead of Sayville and planning for a grand reopening, potentially in Brooklyn.

FAQ

Why did you decide to close the store and plan to move?

Unfortunately, we decided to temporarily close our store due to high overhead and the slow pace of the town we were located in. Retail is tough these days, but we plan to reopen in a different location that allows us to grow both as a record shop and a record label.

Will you still carry local/underground artists?

Yes, we've been trying hard to feature vinyl from local and underground artists, though itโ€™s challenging due to costs. Our focus will be on introducing people to new bands, with an emphasis on new vinyl, autographed albums, and underground artists through our online presence.

What about the original store location?

The original store has been taken over by Mike, who has a unique collection of records, especially in hip-hop. Although I'm not sure about his jazz and pop inventory, his collection is extensive and worth checking out at Budda Belly Records in Sayville.

How can I stay updated or ask more questions?

Feel free to reach out with any more questions, and keep an eye on our website for updates on new vinyl and our move. Thanks for your interest and support!
