Do you buy records from individuals?

Yes, we do buy from individuals. We accept pretty much every genre. The value of the records depends on the genre and their condition, as we grade them accordingly. We generally do not turn records down unless they are significantly damaged.

What types of records do you buy?

We buy a variety of records, but 12” vinyl records of regular speed are our top selling format, constituting about 80% of our sales. These are in high demand compared to other formats.

What about 45's and 78's?

45's and 78's are harder to sell because there isn’t a huge market for them these days. Most people do not have players for 78's; they usually have standard turntables that play 45 and 33 1/3 RPM records. While we can accept 45's, they are generally hard to sell unless they are collector's items. We are happy to take them as donations and will check to see if there’s anything valuable.

How do you handle 78's?

We love 78's, but they are challenging to sell. We sometimes end up giving them away, and if they are not in great condition, we might have to dispose of them. We always try to find them a new home when possible.

Can I donate records that you might not purchase?

Absolutely! If you have records that are not typically bought, such as certain 45's or 78's, we are more than happy to accept them as donations. We'll review them to see if there's anything we can pay for because you never know what gems you might have!
