Record store: Scratched Vinyl

Our store is named Scratched Vinyl, previously known as Rainbow Records until we rebranded in 2018. I buy records from individuals. Just this past week, I've purchased three collections. I am primarily interested in rock, electronic, jazz, world, and blues genres.

Are there any types of records you are not looking to purchase?

I typically do not need more easy listening, soundtracks, country, or classical records. Also, I usually buy entire collections, even if they include some items I may not be interested in, like 45s or records with damaged covers.

Can I bring my collection to the store for an evaluation?

Absolutely! Feel free to bring your collection to the store. I am available to review it and make an offer on Thursdays and Fridays. I'm usually here on weekends too, though I'll be out of town this coming Saturday and Sunday due to a family event.

What are your payment options for buying collections?

I generally offer 50% more in store credit for a collection compared to cash sales. This gives you an opportunity to expand your collection by trading in what you already have.
