Kiss the Sky in Batavia is one of the largest and longest surviving record stores in the far western Chicago suburbs. Located at 180 1st Street near downtown and the Fox River, the store carries new and used compact discs, cassettes, VHS tapes, and books across multiple genres. The shop also stocks clothing, posters, art, and stereo equipment. Within the space sits Cloud Nine, a vintage shop featuring shirts, boots, purses, tapestries, lava lamps, and other collectibles.
The store opens Monday through Friday from 10am to 8pm and Saturday through Sunday from 10am to 6pm, remaining open daily except Christmas and Thanksgiving.
