Record store: Johnny's Records
FAQ
What genres of records are you interested in buying?
We are interested in rock and jazz and blues and reggae. As for criteria, I eyeball records up, which means I have to look at every record I'm interested in. We pay two dollars a record.
What can I expect to find in your Jazz records selection?
We have an excellent selection of Jazz records. We have exactly 6 drawers. We even have specialty jazz such as Tone poet, analogue productions, and mobile fidelity.
How is your pop section arranged?
Our pop section would be a nice sprinkle with our rock music. We would like to know your specific pop needs so we can give you a more accurate idea.
Do you carry local talent?
For us, local talent is Goose. We do carry them. But as far as the local band/singer from up the road, sadly that does not sell well.
How are your records organized?
Our used section is a look and see kind of style, whereas our new is all alphabetical and in genres! We also have a new releases section (new and used).
What are the price ranges for your used records?
Our used records can be as low as $5 and as high as $9. Hope this helps and thanks for considering the journey
—thanks, John
