Record store: Static Era Records
We offer fair evaluations and are particularly interested in a variety of genres. Here's some more information to guide you through the process.
FAQ
Do you buy records regularly?
Yes, we are always looking to buy. We generally seek records from the 60s and up, including genres like rock, classic rock, heavy metal, hip hop, and jazz. Do you have a list of titles or can you send me some photos to get started?
What are your store hours for selling records?
You can always stop into the store Wednesday to Friday from 12:30 to 5 PM, and we can look at them. Whatever is easier for you.
Are there other options to sell my records for more money?
If you're trying to get the most money from your collection, my recommendation would be to list the items on Discogs. Itβs similar to eBay but strictly for records, CDs, and tapes. Discogs is also helpful for looking at how much the albums have sold for in the past and how many current copies are for sale.
How selective are you about the records you buy?
Our shop is a little smaller, so we are selective in the inventory we bring in. Most of our customers are looking for titles from the 80s and up.
What if I decide selling individually is too much work?
If you get stuck and decide it's too much to handle, I can make an offer, but I fear it might be on the low side for you. Please keep me posted and good luck!
