Record store: Karma Plymouth

When we buy used records from customers, we tend to lean toward well-known names. Popular stuff you might hear on a classic rock radio station is what sells best and what we prefer buying.

What types of records do you prefer to buy?

We prioritize well-known names that are popular on classic rock radio stations. Our focus is on music from the 60s-80s, ranging from Ray Charles to Elvis, Billy Joel to Hall and Oates, Black Sabbath to Uriah Heep, and more.

What types of records do you avoid buying?

We tend to avoid classical music, OLD country/western pre-Hank Williams, and showtunes.

What condition should my records be in?

We accept records as long as they are still playable. Pricing is influenced by condition, which we determine through Discogs.

How do you determine pricing?

We use Discogs to check average prices (Low, Medium, and High) and consider condition and artist reputation.

Do you offer cash or store credit?

Both! Store credit usually offers a little more than cash. For instance, $50 in cash or $55 in store credit.

How long does it take to process my records?

Processing time depends on the quantity of records. It could take anywhere from a few hours to a week, and we will call once processing is complete.

How can I contact you if I have more questions?
