You can bring records for evaluation from Tuesday through Thursday from noon until 6 PM. Fridays are a bit 'iffy', so I suggest calling first as it can get very busy. We don't do any purchasing on Saturdays.

Do you buy records from individuals?

Yes, we do buy from individuals. All that is required is a driver's license.

What genres of music sell best at your store?

The best-selling genres are classic rock from the late 1970s through the 1990s. Examples include Journey, Kansas, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, The Beatles, and others you might hear on a classic rock station. Traditional Jazz and Blues also sell well, with artists like Miles Davis, Ornette Coleman, John Coltrane, Muddy Waters, and Mississippi John Hurt.

What are the condition requirements for records?

The records need to be playable. LPs must have their original jacket, though not necessarily their inner paper sleeve.

Are there any formats you are not currently buying?

We won't be looking at 45s for around 60-90 days, and they do not need sleeves when we do. We aren't looking at 78s for quite some time.

How can I prepare for bringing in my records?

It can be helpful to get us a list of the artists (not necessarily the titles). This can speed up the evaluation process.
