What genres of music titles does AMOEBA Music prefer to buy?

We are interested in good selling titles in strong condition across most genres. However, genres that are not generally strong include Classical, Country, New Age, Big Band Jazz, and pre-Beatles-era Pop Vocals, although there are high-value exceptions even within those genres.

How does AMOEBA Music evaluate the titles I bring in?

We evaluate titles primarily for store credit, and cash payments would be 75% of the credit total. You get more value if you choose store credit over cash.

What can I expect to receive for high-value titles?

If we expect to resell an uncommon title at the $40+ range, you could expect about 50% of that value in cash or 67% in store credit.

How does the expected resale value affect the credit or cash I receive?

As the expected resale value drops, so does the percentage we offer. For example, a title we expect to resell for $15 might come with a $5 credit offer, and very strong sellers could get $7 in credit.

What about titles with lower expected resale values?

Titles that we expect to resell for around $8 might receive a $2 credit offer, as these are considered less sought-after titles.
