Record store: Village Green Records

I may still be interested in your records depending on what you have and if you don't mind shipping. Because we are not sharing the same state anymore, I'd pay you outright for them.

What is your stance on trades instead of straightforward purchases?

It's always encouraged to do some trades - I love to continue sharing music with people and with our big move it would also be helpful for our shop seeing as how we are limited on our funds at the moment.

How do you determine the value of the records?

I determine value based on demand in my respective market, condition, and in some instances, market value.

What payment options are available for sellers not located nearby?

In the instance that you would need to ship records from Indiana down to me in Alabama, I would probably go with paying you. But if I have albums that you are interested in, I am happy to ship them to you as store credit.

Are there any types of records you do not accept?

I'm not really interested in big bands. The rule of thumb is usually anything after 1960 is of interest unless it is easy listening, big-band type stuff. However, vocal jazz from Sinatra to Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Edith Piaf, and the like I am very much interested in.

Additional Information

I understand if you would prefer not to continue with the trade of the records. Nonetheless, if I am going to purchase a few of your records, I am totally down with sending you a payment for them. I will take a quick look and see if anything jumps out at me for my clientele.

Hope this helps clear things up.

Take care, Travis
