FAQ

What condition do the albums need to be in for you to consider purchasing them?

If the albums are shiny and unscuffed and the covers are intact, we're definitely interested. Albums without covers, however, we definitely don't take.

What genres of records do you accept?

We take all genres, although some are more valuable than others. However, we don't take 78 records.

How does the appraisal process work?

We appraise vinyl in the shop before the store opens. They can be dropped off Weds-Friday from 12-8 with contact information attached. We keep everything safe and secure.

What is the turnaround time for an appraisal and offer?

Currently, there's up to a 20-day turnaround once it's dropped off, then we will get back to you with a wholesale, non-negotiable offer.

How can I receive payment if I accept your offer?

We can pay via cash, PayPal, or Venmo.

What happens if I do not wish to take the offer?

If you do not wish to take the offer, we can hold the collection for pickup within 14 days after the offer is made.

How much can I expect to get for each album?

Overall the offer on albums ranges from 25 cents to $5 each, with some outliers. Appraisals are based on condition, scarcity, and marketplace value.
