We do buy albums from individuals. The albums and covers need to be in good condition with minimal scuffs on the records, as we do not buy well-worn albums. What genres of records are you interested in purchasing?

We are interested in several genres including Rock (from the 60s to now), Soul/R&B, Hawaiian, Jazz, and vocals, primarily from big names like Sinatra, Cole, Bennett, Fitzgerald, etc.

Are there any types of records you do not buy?

We do not buy 78s or multi-album box sets (like the old Readers Digest collections). We are also very particular about 12” singles and 45s due to space considerations.

When can I bring in my collection for review?

You can bring in your collection between 11 am and 4 pm. We will review the collection during these hours, and if we come to an agreement, we will issue a check for the purchase.

Is there convenient parking available when I bring my records?

Yes, you can park in the parking structure here at SALT, and we can help take your albums up to the shop so you don't have to carry them. This should make your visit more convenient.
